Maticevski Maxi dress

This Maticevski ‘Leander’ crepe gown has a stunning strapless silhouette with architectural draping along the corseted bodice and skirt. The overall effect is an avant-garde, yet refreshing take on a modern wedding gown. The composition is: 100% polyester; Lining: 93% silk, 7% elastane. Also as seen on Chrissy Teigen! I wore this dress for my city hall wedding ceremony. It is size AU 8 which the brand says is a US 4 equivalent, and has minor alterations: – taken in at the bust to size 32A, but this can be reversed according to my seamstress (just remove the elastic along the top; see pic) – switched out the silver zipper to an invisible zipper (I thought it looked sleeker this way) – closed up the slit slightly to start at the knee rather than mid-thigh (the original slit was too high for my comfort) Current measurements: Bust: 14″” across (altered, but can be reversed by removing elastic band) Waist: 12.5″” across (unaltered from original) Hip/widest part: 16″” across (unaltered from original) Length: 49″” (unaltered from original) Please ask any questions, or let me know if you want more photos.
