CONDITION/SIZE🔽 Skirt that belongs to the work wear and parachute universe, in fact the designer, at the time, honored the art of clothing with his creativity and his futuristic vision of ready-to-wear, by integrating these different inspirations, borrowed for example from the sensational sport of parachuting like here the parachute canvas fabric, borrowed from the world of technical clothing of the air force with pilot outfits equipped with reinforcement corsets like here with corset profiles, borrowed from the ingenious soldier outfits with multiple pockets, sometimes removable, like here with the integrated bag and the velcro pockets. 🌟Mini skirt designed like a down jacket with the only difference that the thickness is thinner and not padded. indeed, we don’t really notice it in the photos but the skirt has 100% polyester padding, which magnifies the extremely soft outer fabric. Indeed, the fabric, like parachute fabric, displays a textured visual, imitating the bark of certain trees with multiple raised, vertical and ultra-fine furrows, the addition of the padding and the satin color help to strengthen this effect with the reflections that dance on the fabric. A khaki green shade that tends more towards brown. Central opening, in front by an old bronze metal zipper with its double sliders. Above the zip, a wide velcro panel with stitched contours, the underside of which is signed “”Jean Paul Gaultier””, a decorative panel that adds relief. Two pockets located on each side of the zip, in bias position and velcro flaps embodied by rectangular stitched bands. Majestic profiles whose vertical corset design consists of two wide canvas fabric bands and their antique bronze metal eyelets to integrate the round laces. The thick canvas bands, in addition to their darker shade, contrast with the thin canvas and provide a certain resistance, it is a reinforcement for the lacing system. The corset is not only decorative since between the bands there is an additional canvas to increase the size of the skirt. 🎬In the photo each profile has a different type of lacing, it’s up to you to choose which one you want to adopt!!! General stitching on all the contours but also central, located in front/back. Collector’s piece to wear for example on a long dress in superposition. ✨Removable fanny pack by zip integrated into the skirt, present on the back side, which you can position in front thanks to its belt whose scratch is signed “”JPG””. Fanny pack with a classic design, with a single fairly spacious compartment with zip closure. 🪞 Vintage condition like new because skirt used twice and especially stored. As a reminder, artisanal and not industrial creation, micro-irregularities or threads that stick out may appear. I do not notice any defects except perhaps the laces which have remained folded for a long time and their design of genesis a little irregular here and there. The scratches are new, the zippers have been greased because long storage so this was necessary and well done. Hand washed, ironed, non-smoking house so no smell except that of organic laundry. 📏Size displayed 42 Italian / 38 French / M international. There is at least 10 cm of extra fabric in the corsets which will fit a size M-L international (for the photo I did not enlarge the corsets, I do M / L it is normal that it squeezes me).
