The Amvox2 Transponder could also handle the Keyless Access function; nonetheless Aston Martin does not want to share this technology with Jaeger-LeCoultre. Once again: With the new 2014 Amvox2 Transponder, Aston Martin drivers can now activate and programme the above described functions for all models currently in production. Two elegant and discreet sensors marked “Open” and “Close” have been applied by thermal vapour deposition beneath the watch glass, and a light touch is enough to lock or unlock the Aston Martin and light up the headlights. Unlocking and locking an Aston Martin and the possibility to turn its headlights on only mirrors the high-tech feature of the watch.
