Issey Miyake Maxi dress

Rare to come by, art to wear dress in 2 pc set from Issey Miyake This set is wearable art at its best ….and so rare …i have often seen pleats please from Miyake but this is literally collector’s item Avant garde & stunning….its construction , fabric, color, everything is out of the world there is a shirt / top that can be worn as a shirt …tucked into skirt or over it And it can be worn as a jacket too Do see pictures , styled as both top and jacket ( the belt & black top are just for styling & not part of the auction …the belt is listed separately) The top & skirt are both made from fine cotton in beige with ombre effect …of browning at hem of skirt & sleeve ends & top hemline, if its beige paper, sligtty burnt brown at the ends Then there is the pintucks/ stitched pleats …even at sleeves relaxed fit ..relaxed collars and the icing , so to speak, is the marvelous lace aplliques that are also brownish in that burnt look & arranged in an eccentric manner The skirt has a lovely sway too & is full maxi length ..or ankle length if you are tall The whole relaxed fit…the juxtayof fine voil like cotton with sheer lace , the browning effect …it all makes it look as if the dress is made of paper & lace Its like Miyake wrote a unique love letter to fashion !
