The Opera Derby in black calfskin is from Balenciaga’s 52nd Couture Collection. It is made in Italy. The Opera Derby is a new take on a classic men’s derby, made from only two cuts of leather. Its extreme lines are made possible with internal prosthetics placed between the lining and the upper. A brush-on patina is followed by a hand-applied coating to give the leather a shiny finish.
