This Curtiss P-40 model draws its design inspiration from the Warhawk of the same name, which first flew in 1938 and quickly became known as a master of agility. Robust in structure, with the capacity for jaw-dropping turns, the aircraft was characterised by its defiant shark-mouth nose art, which reinforced its reputation as a rebel of the skies. A true pilot’s watch, the Curtiss P-40 timepiece offers optimal grip for operation by gloved hands, sizeable numerals that can be spotted with ease, and an additional hand indicating a second time zone. MADE FOR PILOTSA chronometer certified by the COSC, this 46mm stainless steel model is presented on a brown leather strap with white topstitching to honour the seams found on classic flight gear. Framed by a knurled bezel, the khaki green dial presents silver-tone hands, highly legible Arabic numerals, a date display, and three sub-dials.
