While Le Corbusier is credited for much of the master planning of Chandigarh, Pierre Jeanneret had his hand in many of the city’s public buildings. The Kangaroo Chair is a lowchair that was made for the General Hospital Hall, but it also appeared in many privatehouses. Two parallel Z-shapes form the leg and back frame, while a gently bowed woodenframe provides comfort.
