Breitling’s ultimate all-purpose sports watch is ready for anything. The Chronomat holds a pivotal place in the brand’s modern history. Introduced for Breitling’s centennial in 1984, at a time when quartz movements dominated, it marked a bold return to mechanically driven watches. It was born from a collaboration with the beloved Italian aerobatic squadron, the Frecce Tricolori. When the team asked for an analog timepiece that could withstand the intensity of a jet cockpit and still look stylish enough to be worn to formal events-Breitling developed the “Chronograph Frecce Tricolori.” It was the blueprint for the Chronomat to follow one year later. The Chronomat B31 40 is powered by Breitling’s COSC-certified manufacture caliber B31, unveiled in 2025. With a weekend-surviving 78-hour power reserve and slim dimensions, it’s a time and date timepiece for every occasion. Available in a range of colorful dials, the Chronomat has a fully-integrated signature Rouleaux bracelet with on-the-fly adjustable links on both sides of the clasp. The case is water resistant to 200 m, making it ready for every environment.
