Breitling’s ultimate all-purpose sports watch is ready for anything. The Chronomat holds a pivotal place n the brand’s modern history. Introduced for Breitling’s centennial in 1984, at a time when quartz movements dominated, it marked a bold return to mechanically driven watches. It was born from a collaboration with the beloved Italian aerobatic squadron, the Frecce Tricolori. When the team asked for an analog timepiece that could withstand the intensity of a jet cockpit and still look stylish enough to be worn to formal events-Breitling developed the “Chronograph Frecce Tricolori.” It was the blueprint for the Chronomat to follow one year later. The Chronomat Automatic 36 is made to suit a wide range of wrists. It’s powered by the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 10, a Sellita-based automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve and a 6 o’clock date. It model features various dial colors and executions with natural mother-of-pearl dials, and both stainless steel or gem-set bezels. It comes with the quintessential fully-integrated Rouleaux bracelet, which features micro adjustments on both sides of the clasp.
